Original Version Edit
The story centers around a young girl, Angel, whose mother died due to complications when giving birth to her. Angel's mother, Shelly, knew the risks but wanted to give birth anyway. Angel carries a guilty conscious because of this and believes her father hates her for it. Angel's father is upset at the loss of his wife, and blames Angel for her part in it. Even though he knows it is not her fault, he still blames her for his wife, Shelly, isn't coming back. He can not look at Angel for he remembers it every time he sees the child. Flora, Angel's older sister, understands that Angel is not really at fault for their mother's death and feels for Angel. She chastises their father for blaming Angel. Angel doesn't believe that their father don't hate her for causing their mother's death. While others tried to convince her that her no parents resent their child, Angel seems to be unmoved. However through Flora's kindness and understanding she is able to see that he still loves her. In the end the father also stops blaming Angel and begins to love her again.
Kyoko's Version Edit
Kyoko and Maria both disagree with the original version. They think that the characters do not follow typical human nature, as they are both too forgiving of Angel. Especially Flora who bears no grudge at all against her younger sister, even scolding her grieving father for blaming Angel.
The LME trainees challenge Kyoko to act out Flora with this interpretation, that she does hate her younger sister, Angel, for their mother's death, however she must also reach the same conclusion as the original play did - Flora convincing Angel that their father does not hate her.
In order to do so Kyoko acts out Flora with more sharper and harsher expressions and with blunter statements. Whilst acting she alters some of the lines slightly so that they better suit the change in character. In order to express Flora's hatred towards Angel she flips the lines between Angel and Flora. This also ensures that the girl playing Angel responded accordingly.
Maria is reminded of her own circumstances halfway and intervenes. Surprised but not thrown off Kyoko stays in character as Flora continuing the play til the end in order to help Maria/Angel realize that her father does love her but because she has distanced herself from him, he doesn't know her.
Behind the Scenes Edit
Kanae also acts out the play but as all of the roles. Infuriated at being called untalented because she's a Love Me Member she grabs a script and uses her special speed memorizing skill, then begins to act out not one role but all of them giving a one-actress play. The LME trainees are blown away by her skills and reluctantly admit she is qualified.
Afterwards, Kyoko reveals her reasons for sticking to the script as she had planned to switch the lines from the beginning because Angel's lines could be used to show Flora's hatred. Kanae wonders what she would have done if the other actress hadn't responded accordingly. Kyoko says she was lucky that she did and was relieved when she cried out 'liar' but she was confident she would because the lines that would usually come to mind are the lines that one is used to right? Like familiar ones from the script. It is then that Kanae realizes she misjudged Kyoko and recognizes her as someone to be wary of, designating Kyoko as her rival in the acting world.
Original Version Edit
Maria causes lots trouble around the LME training section due to the play, even causing some injuries. She does not like the story, the characters or the actors interpretation of them as it hits a personal chord with her due to her own trauma regarding something much similar happening to her with her mother, Lina.
Kyoko's Version Edit
As Maria intervened the LME trainees rendered Kyoko's trial invalid and even if she had continued the performance of the 'Flora hates Angel' interpretation, they still wouldn't recognize her. However LME has allowed her to pay the tuition fee in installments which Kyoko prefers.
