Plot[]
Kyoko tries to cheer up Maria and comes up with an idea for a year's end party.
Chapter Summary[]
Kyoko is walking through LME, pouring over her script and trying to find a reason to like her new bullying role, Natsu. She overhears Maria ranting about foreign holidays in Japan, having trapped a new LME employee into listening to her.
Kyoko sneaks up behind Maria and uses one of her lifelike Ren dolls to distract Maria from her bad mood (allowing the new employee Maria was ranting at to escape). Moko comes across them and is creeped out by the realism of the doll.
Maria gets depressed when Kyoko refuses to give her the Ren doll as it's a trial product. Kyoko tries to cheer her up again about asking if she's having a party on her birthday, December 24th, completely forgetting that's the day Maria's mother died.
Kyoko comes up with an idea to host a different kind of event, an end-of-the-year thank-you party to friends, and asks Maria to co-host it with her. Kyoko gets caught up in the idea of all the delicious food she can prepare, and Maria gets into it. They have six days to get everything ready, and Moko is pressured to come since she doesn't have any acting jobs until the 27th. Moko agrees, but only if they come up with a name that's less corny than "Everybody Thank You Party."
In a green room waiting to be called up for a TV appearance, Ren is reading a magazine article about the rose, Queen Rosa. Yashiro finds this a bit unusual, but Ren seems pleased about something.
